Crave New World

Crave New World is a series which came about through experimenting with the limitations of an AR app. The resulting images that the artist made resembled some kind of monolithic architecture from a dystopian world. Herne stitched different combinations of the images together to make imagined city scapes. Although different in tone and style the artist sees parallels to suburbia in the way that the shapes are all quite straight lined and similar and lack any real detail and character.
